Paul Eugene Craig

Paul Eugene Craig, age 96, of Jasper, MI, passed away, September 21, 2023, at Lynwood Manor under the care of Hospice of Lenawee.  He was born July 30, 1927, in Royalton Twp., OH, the son of Pearl & Edith (Hearn) Craig. On November 19, 1945, he married Joanne Felkey, she preceded him in death on April 6, 2016.  Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Jasper Bible Church where he served as a Deacon and Church Elder. Paul was also a member of the American Legion. He worked at Stubnitz-Greene for over twenty years, eventually retiring from Sears. Paul loved to hunt, fish and gardening. He especially enjoyed many family gatherings and spending time with his family.  He is survived by his children, Jerold (Anita) Craig, Stanley (Nina) Craig, Betty Jo (Paul) Pickles and Michael (Brenda) Craig; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, Joanne Craig, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Steven Craig, one sister, Helen Smith; and one brother Reed Craig.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Jasper Bible Church, 8230 S. Adrian Hwy, Jasper, MI, with Pastor Bruce Jewett officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the Adrian American Legion Post 97.  Visitation will also be on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
