Olga (Lopez) Montie

Olga Montie, age 71, of Tecumseh, passed away January 25, 2020 at home in the loving arms of her husband.  Olga was born September 23, 1948 in Laredo, Texas the daughter of Oscar and Clara Maria (Vera) Lopez.  On September 19, 1975 she married David Montie and he survives.  Olga had a great sense of humor and her laugh was contagious.  She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers and spending time with her family,  Her Christianity was an important part of her life. In addition to her husband, David, Olga is survived by her children,, David Montie, Jr., Janette (Che) Flores, Jesse Montie, Tammy (Joshua) Powell and Sandy (Samuel) Valdez; grandchildren, Autumn Flores, Issac Flores, Ariana Flores, Gabriella Powell and Greyson Powell; siblings, Olivia (Ray) Napiantek, Norma (Richard) Sherrill, Isabel (Steve) Matus,  Katherine (Kenneth) McMullen, Oscar (Rhonda) Lopez, Alamar (Ray) Lopez,  Gary (Kim) Lopez, Mona (Phil) Willis and Donna Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Raymoundo. Funeral services will be 5:00 P. M. Thursday, January 30, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Reverend Gary Miller officiating  Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 P. M. also on Thursday, preceding the funeral service.
