Nick George

Nick George, age 89, of Tipton, passed away April 20, 2021. Nick was born April 24, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Harry and Helen George.  On December 28, 1952 he married Dorothy Barss and she preceded him in death March 17, 1997. He was a sergeant in the U. S. Army serving during the Korean War and then served in the National Guard for 18 years.   He owned a private Security Company until he retired in 2002.  He was a member of the Adrian Assembly of God Church and a born again Christian. A loving  father,  grandfather  and great grandfather, Nick is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Mark) Loos; son, Gregory (Joyce) George; grandchildren, Tamara Loos, Stephanie George and Nicholas (Tina) Loos and 3 great grandchildren. Skyler, Courtney and Autumn. In addition to his wife, Dorothy he is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Helen and Jean. He will be laid to rest on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Franklin Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Tecumseh American Legion and the Tecumseh VFW.
