Mike Sedlecky

Mike Sedlecky, age 61, of Brooklyn, MI, passed away on August 18, 2023, at home with his family.  Mike was born October 1, 1961, in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of David & Nancy (Sasak) Sedlecky. Following high School, he went onto earn an Associate Degree in auto technology from Ferris State University.  Mike loved NASCAR, boating, snowmobiling and hanging out with his family and friends.  He was known for his mechanical ability and could be found in his man cave, better known as his garage.  Mike is survived by his wife, Rose Jolet-Sedlecky; his children, Amanda (Gary) Alsip, David (Shireena) Sedlecky, Jamison Sedlecky, Nathan Sedlecky and Morgan Sedlecky; four grandchildren, Jasmyne (Alex) Korte, Haylie Alsip, Ayden Alsip and Elijah Sedlecky; his mother & step-father, Nancy (Jerry) Stedman; one brother, Patrick (Eileen) Sedlecky; one sister, Kathy (Kraig) Walcott; mother in law, Sandra Jolet; sister in law, Tammy (John) Hartman; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father,  David Sedlecky; his grandparents, Frank & Bernice Sasak and Arthur & Dorothy Sedlecky; father in law, Joseph Jolet; and grandson, Joseph Daugherty.
