Mike Perez

Mike Perez, age 91, of Toledo, OH, formerly of Adrian, passed away, November 7, 2024, at Majestic Care of Toledo. He was born February 14, 1933, in Comal County, Texas, the son of Basilo D. Jr. & Isabel (Alferez) Perez. Mike served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era.  Mike enjoyed watching Western movies and Big Time Wrestling on Monday Night Raw. He was an avid Elvis Presley fan.  He is survived by two sisters, Antonia "Tonia" Perez-Jimenez of Adrian, MI and Virginia "Kimo" (Tino) Madrid of Toledo, OH, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Basilio D. Jr. & Isabel Perez, siblings, Eddie Perez, Gloria Rodela, Catarino Perez, Cecelia Perez, Edwardo Perez, David Perez, Arturo Perez, Maria Perez and Rudy Perez and three nephews, Carlos Barrera, Benjamen Madrid and Armondo Perez.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
