Michelle Mayes, age 47, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 14, 2023. She was born October 18, 1975, in Denver, CO, the daughter of James & Linda (Hendershot) Mayes. She is survived by her mother, Linda Mayes; , her children; Audie Edward Smead, Jr., Joseph James Mayes and Destiny Marie Mayes; two brothers, Michael James (Bethany) Mayes and Robert Edward (Ashton) Mayes; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James "Jim" Mayes; one brother, "Jimmy" Robert Mayes, Jr.; and a sister in infancy, Grace Mayes. Private Services were held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
