Michelle O. Blackston

Michelle O. Blackston, age 49, passed away at her mother’s home in Ferndale, Michigan, on May 25, 2020. She is survived by her mother, Sylvia Resia Outlaw; grandmother, Obera Muse-Jones; two aunts, Gwendolyn Irvin, Cheryl (Sioux) Willan (Pa); and her long-term partner, Eric Enoex; as well as several cousins. Michelle had a great sense of humor, and made everyone around her laugh. If you ever needed anything, she was always there to help. She loved animals, music, movies, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends. She was employed at XPO Logistics-Southfield, Michigan, for 21 years and held the position of Senior Manager of Operations. She was preceded in death by her much beloved grandfather, Henry James Jones. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Michelle’s favorite animal shelter, where she loved to volunteer.
