Michelle Anne (Mulski) Balius, age 58, of Curran Michigan, died Monday, May 1, 2023, in Ann Arbor Michigan. Michelle aka "Shel", was born October 1,1964, in Flint Michigan, to parents Michael Mulski and Sally (Alexander) Mulski. She attended school in Birch Run, college in Saginaw and Flint, worked in accounting and industry, and then retired to northern Michigan. A kind, generous, and intelligent lady; she is forever dearly loved and sadly missed by her family and many close friends. Shel was an avid reader, artist, Master Gardener and enjoyed studying all things flora and fauna. She is survived by her husband Brian Balius, sister Kristine (Mulski) Derhammer, sisters-in-law Deborah (David) Kasoff, and Denise (Randy) Arndt, brother-in-law Paul (Charisse) Balius, stepfather Robert Jobson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Dorothy (Balius) Jobson, and grandparents Edwin and Helen Alexander. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
