Michael L. "Weasel Nicholas, Sr.

Michael L. "Weasel" Nicholas, Sr., age  68, of Hudson, MI, passed away, November 13, 2021, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born February 8, 1953, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Clarence & Betty (Richardson) Nicholas. On April 15, 1970, he married Barbara Rosenberry, she survives.  Michael was retired from Dura Corp. in Adrian, MI. He was an avid fisherman and loved bowling in leagues at Lenawee Recreation, Ten Pin Alley and Hillside Lanes. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  In addition to his wife, Barbara Nicholas; he is survived by his children, Michael Nicholas Jr. and Laurie Nicholas; six grandchildren, Michael Nicholas III, Opal Nicholas, Faith Nicholas, Michael Courington, Travis Courington and Hunter Courington; great granddaughter, Ja'Nylah Courington; three sisters, Darlene, Marlene and Karina; along with several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Betty Nicholas and brother, Duane Richardson.  Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, November 18, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Jonathan Richardson officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at J.
