Merrill Sackett

Merrill Sackett, age 67, of Raisin Twp., MI, passed away, February 14, 2022, at home with his family. He was born June 13, 1954, in Adrian, MI, the son of Harold & Ruth (Sellers) Sackett.  Merrill was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, Class of 1972. He then went on to work for Ford Motor Co., retiring from the Milan Plant after over 30 years of service. Following retirement, Merrill worked at Martin's Home Center in Tecumseh, MI. Merrill loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally.  He is survived by his children, Devon Sackett, Ashton Sackett and Aujalique Sackett; his grandchildren, Avion Sackett, Vihanna Sackett, Cameron Sackett, Clark Sackett, Creed Sackett, DeVarah Sackett, Dani Mae Caterina; two brothers, Martin (Lynette) Sackett and Max (Coral) Sackett; two sisters, Mary Anne Caromody and Michelle Gubbe; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Ruth Sackett, sister, Marjean Sackett; three brothers, Michael Sackett, Mark Sackett and Monte Dale Sackett in infancy; and one nephew, Corey Sackett.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Tipton Cemetery. Viewing & Visitation will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at J.
