Maureen Rose

Maureen Rose, age 93, of New Castle, IN, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away November 30, 2022, at Heritage House of New Castle.  She was born April 9, 1929, in Waldron, MI the daughter of Claude & Ida (Lett) Marvin. She married Ray Rose, he preceded her in death in 1991.  She owned & operated Maureen's Hair Styles in Adrian, MI, for over 45 years.  Maureen is survived by her children, Gary (Elizabeth) Rose, Greg Rose and Brenda Rose-Henry; her grandchildren; Summer (Ben) Breig, Chelsea Rose, Tyson Rose, Abby (Zach) Bivins, Sally Rose, Kimberly Rose, Adam Rose (Brittany Caruso), Brian Rose, Michael (Nicki) Lirot, Jason Lirot, Ariel (Byron) Holmes and Autumn Henry; great grandchildren, Ethan Breig, Levi Breig, Nathanael Breig, Madelyn Breig, Carter Rose, Malia Rose, Paisley Bivins, Every Bivins, Addyson Rose, Gavin Duttine, Bailey Rose, Jaiden Turnwald, Luke Goodrich, Carson Goodrich, Myles Rose and Wyatt Rose; Summer (Chase) Legacy, Jason M. Lirot, Sabian Lirot, Maximus Lirot and Evelyn Holmes; and great great grandson, Kreed Legacy.  In addition to her husband, Ray Rose, she was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Ida Marvin; her siblings, Donna Covell, Jennie Ward and James Marvin; and great grandson, Riley Henry.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI.
