Matthew Gregory Clark, 49, of Dundee, MI, died unexpectedly September 13, 2021. He was born January 17, 1972, the son of Paul and Faye (Adams) Clark. On August 22, 1997, he married Courtney (Scheich) Clark. They were fortunate to have shared over 25 years together. Matt was born in Toledo, OH. He graduated from Deerfield High School and has lived in Dundee, MI his entire adult life. He worked for many years at the Chrysler Perrysburg plant. Since 2012, he has worked as an automotive mechanic at Radrick Farms Golf Course, University of Michigan. It was a job he thoroughly loved, with coworkers he embraced like family. Matt would describe his greatest accomplishment in life as being the father of Ryleigh and Camdyn Clark. He was also a doting uncle and godfather to many nieces and nephews. He had the brightest and kindest blue eyes, the most welcoming smile and amazing vintage dance moves. He could make anyone around him laugh. He enjoyed euchre, poker, driving his pontoon boat and golf cart at Lake Diane, golfing, the Detroit Tigers, and all U of M sports. He is survived by his wife, Courtney of Dundee; his parents, Paul and Faye of Deerfield; his daughters, Ryleigh and Camdyn of Dundee; and his brothers, Jim (Stacey) Clark of Blissfield, Jason (Anna) Clark of Maricopa, AZ, and Nathan (Billie) Clark of Blissfield. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Monroe and Nellie Clark, and James and Mary Adams, as well as his father-in-law and best friend Mike Spears. A celebration of life will be held at Rod Park, 14199 S. Custer Rd, Dundee, MI; Sunday, September 19th at 4PM. Family invites everyone to wear maize and blue to show their love for Mr. Clark.
