Mary Katherine Johnson

Mary Katherine  Johnson, age 54, of Blissfield, MI, passed away, April 21, 2020, with her husband & children by her side at The Toledo Hospital. She was born November 2, 1965, in Jenkins, KY, the daughter of Beldon Sykes & Elizabeth Keith.  Mary worked for Nokia installing & maintaining equipment. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, boating, spending time at the lake and being with family & friends.  She is survived by her husband, William Johnson; her children, Jessica (Kyle) Summers, Mary Summers, Kenneth (Chelsae) Summers and Hunter Johnson; her grandchildren, Isaac and Kinsley; her siblings, Brian (Sarah) Sykes, Anthony (Gail) Sykes, Gregory (Kelly) Sykes and Lolita Sykes; and several nieces & nephews. Also surviving are her father in law & mother in law, Robert (Phyllis) Austin; and brother in law & sister in law, Paul (Melissa) Johnson  She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.  Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, preceding the service.
