Mary Jacobus

Mary E. Jacobus, age 65, of Reading, MI, passed away November 22, 2022 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born January 27, 1957, in Bellefontaine, OH, the daughter of Troy & Alice (Bolling) Pitts.   She married Wayne A. Jacobus, he survives.  Mary owned and operated Covenant Care AFC Home in Reading, MI, for the past 30 years.  In addition to her husband Wayne "Arlie" Jacobus, she is survived by her children, D'Anna Pitts, Arlene Mason and James (Elizabeth) Jacobus; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Louann Sanford and Emily Wilmoth; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy & Alice Pitts; beloved brother, Everette Pitts Sr..  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Lifesong Church, 2799 Lake Pleasant Road, Osseo, MI 49266, with Pastor Bud Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Reading, MI.
