Mary Goodwin

Mary Goodwin, age 74, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, January 22, 2022.  She was born October 11, 1947, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Andy & Elizabeth (Cox) Howard. On April 24, 1971, she married Ray Goodwin, he preceded her in death.  Mary worked at the Tecumseh Middle School cafeteria for over fifteen years. She loved spending time with and being around her grandchildren.  Mary is survived by her children, Ryan (Kristen) Goodwin and Michelle Eighmey, both of Adrian, four grandchildren, Jade, Justice and Joey Eighmey and Ruby Goodwin and with one more arriving in 2022; great granddaughter, Sarenitie Eighmey-Brown; one brother, Robert "Bob" (Becky) Howard; three sisters, Faye Harris, Betty VanWagoner and Joyce Cole; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy & Elizabeth Howard; stepmother, Nellie "Nell" Howard; one brother, Rodney Howard; and two sisters, Kathleen Bearden and Helen Harris  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Doug Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Riga Cemetery.
