Marilyn Elaine Anderson

Marilyn Elaine Anderson, age 80, of Manitou Beach, MI, passed away, November 6, 2022, at home with her family. She was born May 24, 1942, in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of Lloyd & Betty (June) Morse. On October 22, 1966, she married Larry Anderson, he preceded her in death on June 29, 2006.  Marilyn was a graduate of Onsted High School, Class of 1961. She went to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing from Jackson Community College and a Bachelors Degree in teaching from Adrian College. Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse at the Adrian Dominican Mother House for over 20 years.  In addition to her husband Larry Anderson, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd & Betty Morse; four brothers, Timothy Morse, Ronald Morse, Richard Morse and Terry Morse; and two sisters, Darlene Clough and Ruth Diane Morse.  Marilyn is survived by one son, Brian (Lisa) Anderson; two step sons, Chris Anderson and Kevin Anderson; two sisters, Melinda Foreman and Kathleen Kirkpatrick; two brothers, Robin Morse and Kevin (Pam) Morse; six grandchildren, Bruce Anderson, Joshua (Leeann) Anderson, Jacob Coleman, Rachel Anderson, Ian Anderson and Jessica Anderson; great grandchildren, Drew Anderson and Kaylee Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 11, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy Adrian, MI, with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating.  Burial will Follow in North Rome Cemetery. Viewing & Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
