Maria Montalvo

Maria Montalvo, age 89, of Britton, MI, passed away on October 26, 2025.  She was born September 11, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas to Refugio & Paula (Trevino) Montalvo.  Maria loved traveling to San Antonio with her mom and Eustace to visit family.  She was a strong lady; a caregiver to her mom and brothers.  She worked over 40 years at the Danley's Country House until she retired.  Maria was a member of the Tecumseh Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.  Maria enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends at Adrian Bay.  Maria was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beatrice Rodela, Carmen Garcia and Lucy Montalvo; brothers, Frank Montalvo, Rudy Montalvo, John Montalvo and Eustace Montalvo.  Maria is survived by her brother in law, Joe Rodela of Deerfield and many nieces and nephews.  Maria will be buried with her mom and brothers at Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway Twp., MI.  Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
