Maria DeLosAngeles (Charo) Gonzalez

Maria DeLosAngeles Gonzalez, age 93, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away June 19, 2021. Maria was born October 25, 1927 in Cotulla, Texas the daughter of Juan and Antonia (Salinas) Charo. On July 20, 1946  she married  Leopoldo Gonzalea and he preceded her in death September 7, 1995. For 30 years she worked and retired from Herrick Nursing Home in Tecumseh. She loved gardening, dancing and spending time with family.  Maria  is survived by five daughters, Irma Gonzalez of San Antonio,  Arcelia "Chela" Gonzalez  of Tipton, Sylvia) Ordway of San Antonio, Maria Antonia "Toni"(John)  Crist of Illinois,  Deana (Fred) Worden of Saline; son, Leopoldo "Lee" (Eva) Gonzalez of Sand Lake and 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Leopoldo, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, David;  daughter, Elizabeth and grandson, Cable Lee Chandler.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 29, 2021. at Solid Rock Church, Clinton  with the Rev. Timothy Richmond officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. preceding the service at the church. .  Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
