Mardella Rae Smith

Mardella Rae Smith, age 85, of Adrian, MI, passed away from this life on, February 19, 2022 at her home in Adrian. She was born January 12, 1937, in Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Todd Francisco.  She retired from the Muskegon Library after 17 years. She came to Adrian to live in 2003 and was a member of the Adrian Bible Missionary Church. She loved her church and church family and always looked forward to being in church. She will be greatly missed by her church family and friends as well as all those at the Maple Village Senior Apartments. She was well liked by all who ever knew her. She was a friend to anyone she met. She never knew a stranger.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Eddie McClure officiating. (WATCH LIVE LINK) Burial will follow in East Rome Cemetery.
