Marcos Alvarado-Barajas

Marcos Alvarado-Barajas, age 64, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 21, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson, MI.  He was born January 13, 1956, in El Uncidero, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Rogelio & Maria Del Refugio (Barajas) Alvarado. On September 24, 1982, he married the love of his life Mary Pearson, she survives.  Marcos was retired from the Tecumseh Products Company. Marcos loved going to rodeos, living in the country and horses. He enjoyed watching baseball and activities his grandchildren were involved in. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Adrian, MI. Marcos loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling to Mexico and visiting his family.  In addition to his wife, Mary Alvarado, Marcos is survived by his children, Laura (Johnny) Uribe, Maribel (Israel Rosas) Alvarado, Rogelio Alvarado, Angelica (Jose Robles) Alvarado and Marco (Tara Krise) Alvarado; grandchildren, Johnny (Lia), Christien, Mia, Domenic, Alejandro, Andres, Marisa, Anabella, Romeo, Emiliano, Jose Jr., Araceli, Yareli, Avery and Giuliana, his siblings, Josefa Alvarado, Jesus Alvarado, Alicia Alvarado, Samuel Alvarado, Concha Alvarado, Maria Luz Alvarado, Maria Del Refugio (Cuca) Alvarado, Imelda Alvarado, Rogelio Alvarado and Antonio Alvarado and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Guadalupe Alvarado, Gumaro Alvarado and his twin brother in infancy.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 27, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Fr. Mike Newman presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.   Visitation will be on Thursday March 26, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J.
