Marcia Dechert

Marcia Dechert, age 61, of Adrian, MI, passed away on March 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on July 18, 1963, in Detroit, MI, to Philip and Diane (Huntley) Dechert.  Marcia attended Onsted High School and graduated in 1981. She was a proud bone marrow donor to her sister, Sharon. She loved animals, Precious Moments, Michigan football, and, most of all, her family and friends.  Marcia is survived by her husband, Richard Parker of Adrian, MI; her mother, Diane Dechert of Onsted, MI; her siblings, Sharon Dechert of Onsted, MI, Keith (Shelly) Dechert of Onsted, MI, and Joey Dechert of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by her nieces, Felicia (Kolby) Rebottaro, Hannah Abady, and Lily Dechert; her granddaughters, Kasie Parker, Madisyn Parker, and Alexis Parker; and her great-grandson, Jayce Curry. Additionally, she leaves behind her dear friends Bonnie, Diane, and Pam.  Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Philip Dechert.  A Gathering of family and friends will held Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
