Lowell David Williams

Lowell David Williams, age 68, of Morenci, MI passed away October 9, 2022, at his home with family. He was born October 21, 1953, in Ameagle, West Virginia to Arnett Williams and Ella Stover.Lowell worked many years as a certified welder before retirement and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, cards and watching his favorite football team the Miami Dolphins. Spending time with family and friends was most important to him. Lowell never knew a stranger and was known for his generosity and for hosting squirrel fries and hobo dinners. Lowell is survived by his daughter Jolene (Shawn) McCullough; Son Brock (Tony) Williams; Grandchildren Devin, Nathan, Joseph, Jonathan and Alyssa; Siblings Greta (the late Chuck) Peterson, Junior (JoAnn), Kenneth (Pat), Sandra Borton and Doug (Cathy). Lowell is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Gary, Judith Cornell, Alden, Dennis and Almeda Overmyer. Per Lowell’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held, and cremation has taken place. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Hospice of Lenawee County.
