Loretta Mae Nichols

Loretta Mae Nichols, age 65, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 19, 2023, at home with her family. She was born April 21, 1958, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Robert & Yvonne (Akers) Burgett. Loretta is survived her husband, Rick Nichols; her son, Jamie Burgett; her siblings, Vicki Phillips, Robert Jr. (Patricia) Burgett; Barbara Burgett, Larry (Linda) Burgett and Penny Burgett; and many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Yvonne Burgett; one brother, Thomas Burgett; brother in law, Dana Phillips; and two nephew, Nicholas Phillips and David Phillips.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Wednesday August 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time service at J.
