Lora J. (Poley) Atkinson

Lora J. (Poley) Atkinson, age 56, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 13, 2021 She was born April 12, 1965, in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of William & Elvie (Cole) Atkinson.  Lora worked as a nursing assistant for over 20 years. She enjoyed sewing & crocheting and loved spending time with her family.  Lora is survived by two daughters, Jessica Poley (Dan Mature) and Stephanie (Poley, Powell) Francoeur; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Jade, Kayley, Dorian, Anias, Myles and Harmony; three great grandchildren, Jerome, Treyvon and Brycen; her parents, William & Elvie Atkinson; three sisters, Gloria (Ruben) Lozano, Alvia (Mike) Wotring and Kathy (Richard) Denniss; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death preceded in death by her brother, William L. "Billy" Atkinson; grandparents, Kelly & Katherine Cole and Luther & Edna Mae Atkinson; her aunt, Wanda Smith; and niece, Cheyanne Denniss  Viewing & Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at J.
