Lois JoAnn (McCreery) Swift

Lois JoAnn Swift age 92, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022. She was born November 18, 1929 in Adrian, Michigan, the daughter of  Lloyd and Edith (Rath)  McCreery. On March 6, 1954, she married Ned Swift, in Blissfield, MI. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1990. Lois loved being outdoors and enjoying her garden and  flowers, but most of all she enjoyed serving as a  crossing guard for Tecumseh Schools for many years. Lois is survived by her daughter, Norleen Hyder, of Tecumseh; son, David Swift; grandson, Travis Hyder, of Adrian; and a great granddaughter, Jocelynn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ned; parents, Lloyd and Edith; and sisters, Genevieve and Beatrice. At her request, cremation has taken place, with her final resting place at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, MI.
