Lois G. Mills

Lois  G.  Mills, age 82, of Adrian, MI, passed away, May 16, 2018, at Blissfield Place.  She was born September 1, 1935, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Estel & Clyo (Smith) Jacob.  On December 1, 1957, she married Lynwood Mills in Ogden Twp., MI.  He preceded her in death.  Lois was a graduate of Blissfield High School, Class of 1953.  She then went to work for Owen Illinois in Toledo, OH.  She also worked at J. C. Penney in Adrian, MI.   Lois served as the the Ogden Twp. Clerk.   Lois was an avid camper and belonged to the Good Sam Club and the NCHA.  Lois & Lynwood wintered in Peoria, AZ for 18 years following their retirement.  She is survived by her four sons, Keith (Loretta) Mills, Robert (Carolyn) Mills, Ronald (Darlene) Mills and Bruce Mills, her grandchildren, Amber Mills, Andrew (Tracie) Mills, Beth (Scott) Eisenmann, Wesley Mills and Luke Mills and great granddaughter, Alyssa Mills.  In addition to her husband Lynwood, she was preceded in death by her parents,  grandson, Lee Mills and sister, Florence Woller.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM  Saturday, May 19, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Gayle Ruble officiating.  Burial will follow in Ogden Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the J.
