Linda Marie Smith

Linda Marie Smith, age 70, from Lansing Michigan passed away on December 22,2025 at Sparrow Hospital.  Linda was born in Detroit Michigan  to parents William & Phyllis Smith on September 7, 1955. She went to Penrickton School for the Blind until age 12.  Graduated from Melvindale High School in 1973.  Linda is survived by her son William Ayotte, Grand children:  Azalea, Alanna, William Ayotte Jr. & Ariana Gunter.   Siblings: Debra Smith, Victoria Lewis, Charlena Smith & Nancy Williams.  Nieces and Nephews: Jackson Holloway, Theresa Holloway, Stephanie Ledbetter, Lauren Devore, Caitlyn Dettore and Hannah Williams.  She is preceded in death by her parents William & Phyllis Smith & Niece Chrisa Ledbetter.  A Memorial service will be held at a later date to fulfill her wishes.  "In every cherished memory, in every moment of joy we shared, you live on in our hearts”   Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
