Linda (Tice) Leisenring

Linda Leisenring, 73, of Tecumseh, MI passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2021. Linda was born near Seattle, WA to Earl and Margaret Tice in 1947.  She moved to Fullerton, CA in her teen years where she met the love of her life, Terry Leisenring.  They attended Fullerton Junior College together and then married on January 20, 1967 in Fullerton, CA.  They moved to Gladstone, MI in 1976 where they lived until 2016 before moving to Tecumseh.  While in Gladstone, she worked at Peninsula Federal Credit Union (formerly Mead Paper Credit Union) for 34 years.  She had a servant’s heart and enjoyed helping others.  She served on the credit union’s Board of Directors in her retirement.  Linda loved her children and grandchildren and supported them with all of her heart and tried to never miss any of their activities.  She also enjoyed bowling, reading, and playing cards and games with friends and family.  Linda is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Tice and twin brother John Tice.  She is survived by her husband Terry, her three sons Doug Leisenring (Becki), Ken Leisenring (Kim) and Bill Leisenring (Heather), her nine grandchildren: Ryan, Nick, Chad, Griffin, Cooper, Jack, Macy, Brooke and Quinn; and her sister Patty Wallace (Larry).  Funeral services will be at J, Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI  4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021 with  visitation from 2-4 pm preceding the memorial service officiated by John Maguire.
