Lilly (Garcia) Ramos, of Adrian, age 88, died on December 31, 2020, at Promedica Toledo Hospital of complications due to COVID-19. Lilly is the daughter of Ruth (Reyes) Garcia Rodriguez and Anastacio Garcia of Texas. Lilly was born on August 7th, 1932 in Houston TX. She is preceded by her husband, Alejos Ramos and her daughter Rachel (Ramos) Barnes. She lived in Adrian for over 65 years. She enjoyed visiting with her sisters and other family members and friends in Adrian and Toledo, as well as her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in California. She grew up in Houston, TX and Toledo, OH and lived with her husband and children in Washington State and eventually settled in Adrian. She was truly kind, caring, gentle, and easy going. She had a good sense of humor and would go out of her way to help others. If she said she was going to do something, she did it. She was a longtime member of Holy Family St. Mary’s Campus, in Adrian. Her faith gave her much comfort and strength. She is survived by her son, John Ramos of Jackson, Linda Ramos and Virginia (Ramos) Bracamonte, both of California, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, Tina (Garcia) Menchaca, Olga (Garcia) Tucker, Nora Garcia) Floyd, Josie (Rodriguez) Alejandro and three brothers, Rudy Garcia, Stanley Garcia and Homer Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate, in her name, to Holy Family St. Mary’s Campus in Adrian.
