Leonard L. Benjamin, age 85, of Adrian, passed away January 22, 2023. He was born on January 10, 1938, in Jackson, MI. The son of Earl & Louise (Leidley) Benjamin. Leonard was a lifelong truck driver of 30+ years. He loved traveling and meeting new people. Leonard is survived by three children Martin (Vanee) Benjamin of Tecumseh, MI, Deborah (Edward) King of Bryson City, NC, and Anthony (Sherry) Benjamin of Adrian, MI. Three grandsons, Edward King of Monroe, NC, Richard King of Spokane, WA and Dean Benjamin of Ypsilanti, MI. Five granddaughters Melissa (Randal) Dabson of Muskogee, OK, Marti (Steven) Dexter of Enid, OK, Crystalyn Toomey of Bryson City, NC, Heather (Kevin) Butler of Adrian, MI, Stephanie (Mauricio) Garzon of Detroit, MI numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two sisters, Melva (Jeanie) Albright of Kenosha, WI and Helen (Ted) Underwood of Adrian MI, Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, a brother Charles Benjamin and a sister Mariam (Pinky) Peterson.
