Laura Ann Brownfield

Laura Ann Brownfield, age 83, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 23, 2021, at Gaslight Village. She was born April 1, 1937, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Clarence Albert & Laura Julia (Bonte) Welch.  She is survived by her children, Cathy (Bud) Smith, Patty (Gary) Cook, Albert Wilson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Brownfield, two daughters, Pamela Borton and Deborah Wilson, two brothers, Harvey Welch and Arsan Welch, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and two step-daughters, Becky & Patsy Brownfield.  Laura's family would like to say a special thanks to her Careline nurse, Jennifer, Hospice of Lenawee and Gaslight Village nursing staff for their excellent care.  Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Saturday, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J.
