Larry L. Creger

On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, Larry L. Creger, age 84 went to visit our Lord. He passed away a surrounded by family at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, MI. Larry was born on November, 14, 1938 to Leonard and Queen Creger. He was a lifelong resident of Lenawee county. Larry served in the Army as truck driver. He was a truck driver for most of his life, he shared his love of over the road travel with his children and grandchildren by taking them on many of his work trips.  Larry enjoyed coon hunting, skeet shooting and spending time with his family. Larry was always a jokester and loved playing pranks on family and friends.  On August 1, 1987, Larry married Laura (Pawson) Harris. They enjoyed many happy years together. They liked to travel and a yearly trip they always made was to the Mackinac Bridge for a Labor Day camping trip with family.   Larry is survived by his wife, Laura, daughters, Patsy (Glenn) Kaiser of Brooklyn, MI, Susan (Tom) Schroeder of North Olmsted, OH, sons, Casey ( Bernie) Harris of Manitou Beach, MI and Corey (Callie) Harris of North Adams, MI. His brother, Richard Creger of Clayton, MI and sister-in-law Charlotte (Douglas) Creger of Clayton, MI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Douglas Creger and Paul Irwin, sister, Janice Blackburn and daughter, Terry and son, Benjerman.  There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at West Adrian Community Church 4545 Wolf Creek Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221.  Arrangements with J.
