Ken Sherman, age 87, of Tecumseh, formerly of Sand Lake, passed away February 4, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ypsilanti. He was born August 15, 1932 in Tecumseh, the son of John and Geraldine (Harkness) Sherman. Ken attended Onsted High School and was a member of its first varsity football team. He was retired from Consumer's Power Company serving as a lineman for over 41 years. Ken was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. After retirement, he raised Draft Horses and enjoyed taking them to horse shows. Ken is survived by three daughters, Linda (Ron) Tuckey, Sandra (Robert) Platt, and Deborah Keeney; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a great great grandaughter; sister, Connie Bay; the mother of his children; Betty Sherman and special friend and caregiver, Nancy Rudd. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kenneth John Sherman. According to Ken's wishes, private graveside services were held at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh where burial took place. Rev.
