Kathryn Loraine (Cheever) Gibson

Kathryn Loraine Gibson, 76, of Tecumseh Michigan, devoted Michigan Wolverine fan, (Go Green), died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family April 4, 2020. Kathryn was born August 15, 1943, in Jackson Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents Orlo Cheever & Violet Patterson. Kathryn was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two children and four grandchildren. Her son, Christopher Michael Gibson & his wife Stacy Lee Gibson with grandchildren Skylar & Lucas Gibson. Her daughter Christina Michelle Murray & her husband Joseph Murray with grandchildren Madelyn & Alexis Murray.  She is also survived by her two brothers Russel (Judy) Cheever and Bryan (Dorcis) Cheever and several step brothers, step sisters, niece/nephews and cousins. Kathryn chose to put her faith and trust into Jesus and we will celebrate her entering the arms of Jesus for eternity, reunited with all those who have gone on to heaven before her, and waiting for others who turn from their sin and believe in Jesus as their Lord & Savior. Her last breath on earth was her first breath with our Lord Jesus! As she gets to walk arm and arm with God before us, we will always remember her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and how she always knew exactly what she wanted and when she needed it. Special thanks to Ron, Laurie and Shirlann for taking such great care of Kathryn for the duration of her illness. Helping with Kathryn’s “patient suggestions” on how things are to be done. Making sure that all are well versed on how to care for her. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
