Karen Loree (Brosamer) Irelan

Karen Loree Irelan, age 77, of Tecumseh, passed away July 9, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born July 21, 1943 in Adrian, Michigan the daughter of  Roy and Marcella (Boggs) Brosamer.  On May 5, 1963 she married Dennis Irelan at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh. He preceded her in death December 19, 2018.  Karen and Dennis owned multiple businesses in Tecumseh, the most current being Fabricare Dry-Cleaning. Karen  is survived by daughters, Kelly (Frank) Londy, Dr. Marnie Grant (Walter) Bolt and  Dr. Corbin (Nick) Skarich; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Kate, Rebecca, Joshua, Quinn, Owen and Miriam and brothers, Richard and Carl Brosamer. In addition to her husband, Dennis, she  was preceded in death by her parents and a  brother, Robert. A Mass of the Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Karen will be 12:00 (Noon) P. M. Friday, July 16, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Fr. Daniel Wheeler presiding.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.   Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 P. M. Thursday,  July 15, 2021 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and one hour preceding the Mass at the church..  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Helping Hands Ministry at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
