Justin Lee Thompson

Justin Lee Thompson, age 41, of Morenci, MI, passed away, May 31, 2022.  Justin Lee Thompson, of Morenci, was born September 11, 1980 to Don and Rose Thompson.  He attended Madison Schools.  On January 17, 2004 he met the love of his life, Megan Baran,on a disasterous blind date.  Justin loved to tell the story of how he won Megan over but it took a few hours.  On October 15, 2005, he married Megan and she survives.  Justin was an amazing father and husband.  There was never a task he wasn't able to accomplish.  He thrived watching his daughters grow and loved cheering them on at dance competitions and softball games.  He was a natural born father took pride in that, however his biggest source of pride was being a Pop Pop.  The day Vera Rebecca was born they were instant best friends.  His bond with his girls was immeasurable.  Left to mourn the loss of Justin is his best friend, Megan.  six daughters, MaKenna (Taylor), Maria, Emersyn, Piper, Harper, and Veda.  His sidekick and granddaughter, Vera.  His mother, Rose Thompson and siblings, Joush (Michelle), Rusty, Megan, Amber, and Ryan.  He is also survived by countless family members and friends.   He was preceded in death by his father, Don Thompson, mother in law, Rebecca Baran, granddaughter, Ava Stoddard; and twins in infancy.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Dusty Pauken officiating. Viewing & Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
