Julia Belle Nickloy, age 85, of Manitou Beach, MI, passed away, April 28, 2020, at home with her family. She was born August 18, 1934, in Bokeelia, FL, the daughter of of Jimmie & Lillie (Williams) Howard. On January 26, 1963, she married Keith Nickloy, he preceded her in death in 1992. Julia was a graduate of Ft. Myers High School, Class of 1952 in Florida. Julia worked for the North Ft. Myers System in her younger years as a secretary as well as a bus driver. She then moved to Michigan and worked for the Historic Birch Lodge in Trout Lake Michigan where she eventually met her husband, Keith. She and her husband Keith, owned & operated Nickloy Orchards in Manitou Beach for fifteen years. Julia was a devout member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Adrian, MI. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Abbott, three grandchildren, Christopher Nickloy, Cody Abbott and Casey Abbott, her siblings, Alfred Howard, Sr., and Nellie Mae Price both of Bokeelia, FL and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith Nickloy, five brothers, Robert Howard, Jack Howard, Lonnie Howard, David Howard and Cecil Howard and a sister in infancy, Rose Howard Memorial Services will be held 1:30 PM Sunday July 12, at Church of God of Prophecy, 1245 Division St. Adrian, MI, with Pastor David Bolton officiating.
