Julia Lee Adkins

Julia Lee Adkins,  age 81, of Adrian, MI, went to be with The Lord on February 6, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 30, 1943, in Elkins, West Virginia, the daughter of Walter & Evelyn Wingfield. On August 20, 1973, she married Larry Lee Adkins, he preceded her in death on September 25, 2004.  She is survived by her children; Kimberly (Michael) Rynicki of Livonia, Robert (Linda) Adkins of Goshen, IN, Shannon (Beth) Adkins of Adrian, Clayton (Barb) Adkins of Adrian, and Derek (Cheryl) Adkins of Lansing; her grandchildren; Mallory Tonero, Sean (Carrimee) Tonero, Michael Rynicki and his fiance Tiffanie, Haydn (Katie) Adkins, Mia Adkins, Grace Adkins, Andy Adkins, Bryce (Brooklyn) Adkins, Gabrielle Adkins, Alyssa Banda, Dianna (Zack) Lacey, Anthony (Tara) Banda, Jonathan Adkins, Jeremiah Adkins and Gabriel Adkins; many great grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank (Ann) Wingfield and John (Jean) Wingfield.  In addition to her husband Larry Lee, she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Gloria Roy, Barbara Dilley, Jim Wingfield and Paul Wingfield.  Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Julie Gritzmaker officiating. Burial will follow in Raisin Valley Cemetery.
