It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juan Opel Villarreal, age 44, on February 25, 2025. Born on November 25, 1980, in Tecumseh, Michigan, at Herrick Hospital, Juan was a beloved individual whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He passed away at his home at 2401 E US-HWY 223, Adrian, Michigan, in the hands of his fiancée Amber Davis due to heart failure.  Biographical Information: Juan earned his GED and completed a building trades certification, OSHA certification, and became a certified forklift operator. Juan enjoyed many types of jobs, but his true calling was in construction and helping people. He loved being outdoors, attending family gatherings, and had a passion for cars, music, and movies.  Surviving Family: Juan is survived by his loving family, including his siblings: Mateo Villarreal, Valentine Villarreal, Jason Opel, Conrad Opel, Melissa Opel, Jennifer Opel, Michelle Opel, Bonita Opel; two children, Gabriel Villarreal and Summer Villarreal; eleven nieces and nephews; four great nieces and great nephews and extended family siblings Jessica Valdez and Michelle Ybarra.  Preceded in Death: Juan was preceded in death by his mother Carol Louise Opel-Burns, his father Juan Banda Villarreal, and his sister Victoria McKelvey.  Engagement: Juan was engaged to Amber Davis, age 43, and he proposed to her on February 7, 2025.  Funeral Service Details: A service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Maple City Baptist Church, 305 W Beecher St, Adrian, MI 49221. Doors will open at 10:30 AM. Donations of flowers, food, or cash can be sent to the church. The pastor's number is 517-263-9861. A dinner for immediate family will follow the service.  Closing Remarks: “To the world, you may have been one person, but to one person, you were the world.” Juan's life was a testament to love, forgiveness, and faith. He believed in letting go and letting God guide his path.  May this prayer bring comfort: “Heavenly Father, we thank you for the precious life of Juan Opel Villarreal. His kindness, love, and forgiveness touched many lives. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the joy he brought to others. May your peace and comfort be with us all as we remember his legacy.
