Juan "John" Flores Jr.

Juan "John" Flores, Jr., age 74, of Tecumseh, passed away August 5, 2019 at Ebied Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH, surrounded by his family.  He was born October 8, 1944 in Laredo, TX, the son of Juan A. and Ofelia (Garza) Flores.  On December 31, 1967 he married Minerva Gonzalez in Bustamante, N.L., Mexico. She preceded him in death on August 2, 2015. Juan was retired from Peerless Gear, Clinton, MI. John is survived by his daughter Cristina Flores of Waxahachie, TX; son, Joey Flores of Adrian; granddaughter, Stefani Hernandez of Waxahachie, TX; sister; Diamantina (Silverio) Diaz of Dallas, TX; four brothers, Frank (Jackie) Flores of Saline, Albert (Mary) Flores of Adrian, Howard (Carol) Jones of Napoleon, and David (Laura) Flores of Adrian; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Minerva, he was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Maria; and son, Steve. A memorial gathering will take place Thursday, August 8, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Final resting place will be at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
