Joyce Nadine McTaggart

Joyce Nadine McTaggart, age 90, of Palmyra, MI, passed away, January 28, 2023, at home with her husband and family. She was born June 10, 1932, in Rushville, IN, the daughter of Russell & Mary (Sherwood) VanValkenburg. On August 12, 1961, she married Robert "Bob" McTaggart Sr., he survives.  Joyce worked at home on her family dairy farm. She also worked in home healthcare for the Department on Aging for over 43 years.  In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by two sons, Rob (Sherry) McTaggart and Todd McTaggart; her grandchildren, Stacy, Meghan, Randy, Ryan, Rebecca, Charity, Isaac, Danielle, Jessica, Jennifer, David, Bradley and Loren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one brother; Richard "Dick" VanValkenburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Mary VanValkenburg; two sons, Randy Hicks and Brad McTaggart; and three siblings, Harold VanValkenBurg, Ken VanValkenburg and Katherine Lindsey.  A Celebration of Life will be held, 2:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the home of Rob & Sherry, 5548 Centennial Rd, Tecumseh, MI 49286.  Arrangements with J.
