Joseph N. Drogowski, age 83, of Adrian, MI, passed away, May 30, 2023, at Hickman ProMedica Hospital. He was born March 16, 1940, in Adrian, MI, the son of Joseph & Frankie (Miller) Drogowski. Joe owned & operated Joseph Painting for almost 50 years. He enjoyed working on his classic cars and going to car shows and events. Joe liked woodworking, going camping & traveling with his family. He was a longtime member of the Adrian Eagles, Adrian American Legion and the Adrian Moose Lodge. Joe loved to talk, tell stories and make people laugh. Joe was a loving husband and father and loved spending time with his family and going to family gatherings. He is survived by his wife, Christine Drogowski; his children, Joseph W. (Laurie) Drogowski, James W. Drogowski, Cindy M. Butler, Tammy L. (William) Kolle and John W. Drogowski; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Waynick, Judy (Joe) Weaver/Cavin, Jim Brighton, Peggy (Tom) Marr, Herbert (Dorothy) Brighton, David Brighton, Nancy Cleghorn, Tom (Julie) Brighton; and many nieces nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Drogowski & Frankie Brighton; one brother, Anthony "Tony" Drogowski; and great grandson, Garrett Ekins. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus, 305 Division St. Adrian, MI, with Fr. Michael Newman presiding. Rite of Committal will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
