Joseph Boothe Obituary

Joseph Paul "JP" Boothe, age 78, of Adrian, MI, passed away, December 31, 2024. He was born November 24, 1946, in Cabell County, West Virginia, the son of Charles & Hila (Staley) Boothe. On June 27, 1971, he married Carol Gilbert in Hudson, MI. She preceded him in death on October 5, 2017. JP is survived by his sister, Belinda Sawdey and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife, Carol Boothe, JP was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Cook and JoAnn Day and one brother, Charles Boothe. A Memorial Visitation will be on Thursday May 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
