Jose Alberto Torres, Jr.

Jose A. Torres, Jr., age 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 19, 2020, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.  He was born December 6, 1957, in Hale Center, TX, the son of Jose Sr. & Eustolia Torres.  Jose was a loving, caring and hard working man that worked at Inteva for many years.  Jose is survived by six brothers, Lionisio (Sally) Torres, Pablo Torres, Pedro Torres, Sam Torres and Adam Torres, four sisters, Irene DeLaRosa, Chavela (Salvador) Garza, Teresa Mendez and Eva (Francisco) Escobedo, one son, Jose Torres III, two grandsons, Randy Torres and Angel Torres and lots of nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roberto Torres and brother in law, Juan DeLaRosa.  Viewing & Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Juan Negron officiating.  Burial will be in Wauchula Cemetery in Wauchula, Florida.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
