Johnathon "John" Stewart Ellerholz

Johnathon "John" Stewart Ellerholz, age 60, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 7, 2022.  He was born June 23, 1962, in Wayne, MI, the son of Robert & Ethel (Wilson) Ellerholz. On May 28, 1983, he married Patricia Aldrich, she survives.  John owned & operated West End Car Wash & Auto Reconditioning. He was also a professional auto detailer in recent years, owning Hurricane Auto Detailing. John loved to go hunting and boating.  In addition to his wife Patricia Ellerholz, John is survived by his daughter, Chelsea (Nick) Pennington; his siblings, Thomas Flowers (Denise), Cheryl (Arden) Frey and Doris (Jim) Mattis; several nieces and nephews; and father in law, Skip Aldrich. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Ethel Ellerholz; a daughter in infancy, Taylor Ellerholz; his mother in law, Dottie Aldrich; and sister in law, Julie Griewhan.  Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Bishop Robert Benard officiating.  Viewing & Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at J.
