John Taylor Richard

John Taylor Richard passed away peacefully January 18, 2022 with his family at his side. John was an avid outdoorsman and loved his trips out west his dad and brothers to hunt. He also enjoyed fishing, mainly at Silver Lake with family and friends. John grew up playing hockey and was a huge Spartans fan. his greatest joy was spending time with his daughters and grandchildren who called him Poppy. John had a love for nature and enjoyed looking for morel mushrooms during his walks through the woods. He loved old western novels and spent quiet times reading. John was loved by all who knew him and would help anyone in need.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who knew him well. Left to treasure his memory are his parents Robert and Jamie Richard, his daughters Jennifer (Scott) Roberts, Jessie Pellegrini, his Grandchildren Parker, Benjamin, Anthony, Alivia, & Alexander. His wife Kim, his brothers Randy, Jay, & Jeff (Kim) Richard, sister Debbie Simpson, so many loved nieces and nephews, and close friends Lyne Losey and Cedric March. John was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Vinton and Harriett Richard and brothers Robert Richard and Joseph Cramer. A private ceremony to honor John’s life will be held at a later date.
