John Oren Hopkins

John Oren Hopkins, age 85, of Blissfield, MI, passed away, March 10, 2025, at home. He was born February 25, 1940, in Onsted, MI, the son of John Henry & Vivian (Stansbury) Hopkins. On January 24, 1959, he married Nancy (Vanderlaan) Hopkins, she preceded him in death on January 11, 2019.  John was retired from Jeep in Toledo after over twenty years of service.  He is survived by his children; son, John T. (Susie) Hopkins of Clayton, MI: daughter, Brenda (Rick) Parran of Wauseon, OH; daughter, Pamela Humphries of Toledo, OH; and son Brian (Stephanie) Hopkins of Roanoke, IN, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Nancy, he was preceded in death by his parents, John & Vivian Hopkins.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
