John Joseph Coleman

John Joseph Coleman, age 86, of Raisin Township, passed away April 13, 2021. John was born November 22, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan the son of James Anthony and Susan (Wooton) Coleman.  He married Carol Jean Salet and would have celebrated their 50th anniversary this year.  She survives. He retired as an engineer from Ford Motor Company after 34 years of service.   He was active in the United States Coast Guard for over 40 years. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Rev. Father Daniel Wheeler as celebrant.   Military honors will be Conducted by the Tecumseh American Legion and the Tecumseh VFW.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.   Visitation will be 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A.M., one hour preceding the mass at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenawee Humane Society,
