Jerry "Fish" Fisher

Jerry "Fish" Fisher, age 65, of Michigan Center, MI, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away peacefully, at home on May 21, 2026. He was born October 27, 1960, in Adrian, MI, the son of Lloyd & Gwendalyn (Alexander) Fisher. On July 14, 2018, he married the love of his life Cristina Garcia in Tecumseh, MI, she survives. Despite the difficult road he faced over the last several months, Jerry showed remarkable strength and resilience through his battle. He continued to laugh and show his love to his closest friends and family as visitors came to be with him during his final weeks. Jerry was an avid pool lover, always excited for upcoming pool tournaments and going to Las Vegas to bring home those big trophies he was so proud of. Jerry shared this love for pool with his wife, Cristina. Their love for the game is what brought them together. Jerry worked for many years as a tow truck driver for several company in Adrian and he always shared about his times helping others. He would never question a friend in need; he would simply just be there to help. Jerry also took much pride in caring for the public school system during his career as a custodian for many years. Throughout his life, wherever he was, Jerry always could make a friend, he was an amazing person person to lend an ear when you needed it most. He cared deeply for those around him, and he will be missed by so many.  In addition to his wife, Cristina Fisher, he is survived by his daughters, Alexis Garcia, Cara (Dillon) Steiner and Dezarie Arnold; four grandchildren, Jaycub, Gunner, Everly and Izabella; two grandpuppies, Ranger and Maverick; two sisters, Yvonne (Barry) Roe and Carol Petross; sister in law, Teresa Fisher; and several nieces and nephews; Jerry also shared step children, and grandchildren from a previous marriage. Our hearts go out to all of those who loved him.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Gwendalyn Fisher; and his brother, Douglas Fisher.  A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
