Jarrard (Jerry) Urbancik

Jarrard (Jerry) Urbancik age 81, of Tecumseh passed away peacefully May 12, 2022.  Jerry was born in Freeland, Michigan the son of Frank and Lydia (Ivan) Urbancik along with his brother, Larry (Pat) and sisters Kathy Tompa (Gary) and Ruthie Marcy (Bill Merrell).  He married Ellen Koch in 1981 in Midland, MI.  She preceded him in death on February 26, 2022.  Jerry received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State in 1962, and retired in 2005 from his career as an agricultural loan officer.  Jerry loved tractors, skeet shooting, golf, and RC airplanes.  He was active in the Adrian community including the Optimist club, The Farmers Antique Tractor & Engine Association and as an usher and church volunteer for St. Mary’s. He is survived by his children, Matt (Julie) Urbancik and Lori Urbancik; stepchildren, Brian (Kristin) Koch and Paul (Leigh)  Koch; grandchildren, Steven Knapp-Koch, Michael Koch, and Lauren Koch. A memorial service will be held June 4, 11:30AM at Holy Family Parish St. Mary Campus in Adrian, MI with a luncheon to follow.
